Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend that patients of all ages visit the dentist at least two times each year. These six month checkups allow our team to work with patients to achieve and maintain their healthiest smiles.
Can I bring my kids to your office?
We welcome patients of all ages at Anderson Dental, and we offer a variety of treatment options that are specifically geared toward kids. We invite patients to bring the whole family to our office, and offer children’s dentistry services.
What is periodontal disease?
Periodontal disease, also known as gum disease, is one of the most common oral health issues in the US. It occurs when plaque and tartar buildup at the gum line irritates soft tissue leading to inflamed or damaged gums, and more severe oral health issues over time.
I get nervous at the dentist. Can you help?
We work hard to ensure every patient we see is completely comfortable from start to finish, and we offer sedation dentistry services for those patients who need a little extra help relaxing at our office.
Should I get dental implants?
Any patient missing one tooth or a full arch of teeth should consider dental implant supported tooth replacement. This is the only tooth replacement option that allows us to restore the entire tooth from the roots up.
What’s Diagnodent?
Diagnodent is a preventive dentistry technology that allows our dentist to identify areas of weakened enamel to prevent tooth decay, and diagnose and treat decay in its earliest stages.
What is the Anderson Dental Plan?
The Anderson Dental Plan is our in-office dental plan that allows patients without insurance to receive preventive care and reduced prices for advanced treatments for one low price.
